Dr. Grossman received his Medical Degree from SUNY
Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. He did his
Residency at Kings County Hospital. It was there that he
saw some of the first cases of AIDS in the early 1980’s. Dr.
Grossman specializes in Internal Medicine with an emphasis
on HIV and LGBTQ Care. He is a Certified by the American
Board of Internal Medicine.
Prior to relocating to Florida, Dr. Grossman had a private
practice in Manhattan which was one of the largest HIV
practices in New York. He later opened the only primary care
private practice dedicated to LGBT health and HIV care in the
state of New Jersey. He has become nationally recognized
as an educator on HIV issues and as an advocate for LGBT
civil rights and the rights of People Living with HIV. He also
served as the Executive Director of the American Academy of
HIV Medicine.
Theresa Dryden graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a
Masters degree in the science of nursing in 1998. Certified by
the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an adult nurse
practitioner in 1999, Theresa began her clinical experience
in the therapeutic area of infectious diseases. During her 21
years of practice, Theresa’s subspecialty became HIV, but she
gained a wealth of experience in primary care, travel medicine,
clinical research, and pharmaceutical collaboration. Theresa
has practiced in NC, SC, and GA before relocating her family
to the Florida Keys.
