AIDS Drug Assistance Program ›

Provides access to medications to eligible clients either directly or by purchase of health insurance that includes coverage for HIV medications.

Linkage Program ›

Assists people living with HIV that are aware of their status, persons who have newly tested HIV positive, and persons who are not currently accessing HIV/AIDS care.

Community Programs ›

The Department of Health funds 14 Ryan White Part B HIV care consortia within Florida. The consortia advise the HIV/AIDS Section on planning and prioritizing the service needs of people living with HIV.

Peer Navigators ›

Peer navigators are people who have been living with HIV for some time and are experienced with navigating the system of care as well as with managing the daily challenges of living with HIV.


Prep (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) are both strategies used to prevent HIV infection.
