Midway Specialty Care Center was proud to participate in the 6th Annual Community Building Advocates (CBA) Symposium: Community Health, held at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center.

The symposium brought together community organizations, healthcare professionals, and advocates working to improve health and well-being across the region. For the Midway team, the event was an opportunity to connect with community partners, share resources, and discuss ways to expand access to infectious disease prevention, treatment, and care.

Throughout the event, Midway highlighted resources and services related to HIV prevention and treatment, as well as opportunities to participate in clinical research. Conversations with community partners also provided an opportunity to better understand the needs of the populations we serve and identify ways organizations can work together to connect people with appropriate care and resources.

Building Stronger Community Connections

Community partnerships play an important role in improving access to healthcare and addressing disparities. Events like the CBA Symposium create opportunities for organizations to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and connect individuals with resources that can support their health.

As a nonprofit infectious disease care organization, Midway Specialty Care Center remains committed to working alongside community partners to expand awareness, improve access to specialized care, and support healthier communities.

We are grateful to Community Building Advocates for bringing together organizations committed to making a meaningful difference in community health. We look forward to continuing these conversations and building partnerships that help connect more people with the care and resources they need.
