About Dr. Daniel Warner
Dr. Daniel Warner obtained his Bachelor's in Natural Sciences, a Doctorate in Medicine and Board Certified in Internal Medicine at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY prior to relocating to the Daytona Beach area in 1993. He joined Midway Specialty Care Center in April of 2023 in Ormond Beach. Dr. Warner is an accomplished Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician-HIV/AIDS specialist with special interest in the advancements of HIV and hepatitis C medicine. Dr. Warner has been credentialed as an HIV provider with the American Academy of HIV Medicine since 1995.
Since then, Dr. Warner has been the HIV/AIDS Physician and Medical Director for the Care Center in Daytona Beach until July of 2001 when he opened his private practice. Dr. Warner actively enrolled patients as the principal investigator where he oversaw several phase 2b to phase 4 clinical trials for HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.
He has given a myriad of presentations and lectures around the country and is published in many medical journal articles. He has received numerous awards including "Active Teacher and Family Practice" from the American Academy of Family Physicians and The "Excellence Awards" for health care in HIV/AIDS patients in Volusia/Flagler Counties. Dr. Warner is the past president of the American Academy of HIV Medicine/Florida Chapter, as well as serving as the secretary for the National Board Directors of the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
Dr. Warner is a past Medical Educator Director for Positive Healthcare-Florida. He is a former board member for Florida Aids Action, a member of the American Medical Society, International Association of Physicians in AIDS care and the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine. Dr. Warner's abstract entitled: "Early Experience with Baseline HIV Genotyping," a study evaluating resistance to HIV medications and newly diagnosed patients to determine if there is a resistance in our community, was accepted for a poster and presented at the XIV International AIDS Conference in Barcelona in 2012. He is an accomplished speaker for multiple pharmaceutical companies as well as a clinical advisor to numerous pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Warner lives in Flagler Beach and is a proud father of 3 loving children.
